Dr N is a resident of Galveston County and a lifelong Texan.  A lover of animals, she comes from a family of dairy farmers and cattle ranchers.  As a young girl she loved feeding the longhorns watermelon at her Grandmother's farm.  She  spent 4 years in FFA in high school and starting working with small ruminants.  She showed goats, heifers, turkeys and rabbits.  She credits all of those experiences  with launching her on her path to becoming a Veterinarian.

She earned her BS in Animal Science at SFA in Nacogdoches and earned her DVM from Kansas State University. After completing her DVM in Kansas she quickly headed south and returned home to Texas.   

At her small home farm she raises goats, chickens, dogs, cats, a snake and a ferret (with more to come).
